The Alaska Performance Scholarship provides an opportunity for Alaska high school students to earn a scholarship to help cover the cost of an Alaska postsecondary education. The courses listed below meet the grade level standards and rigors as mandated by the requirements for the Alaska Performance Scholarship. All courses are 1.0 credit and are taken for the full school year. Only Alaska History in ninth grade is a .5 credit course because it is taken for one semester. APEX US Government and Politics and APEX US and Global Economics are 1semester courses and are worth 0.5 each. They must be taken together to equal 1 credit of Government.
